Stephanie Otobo is a Nigerian-Canadian-base singer and songwriter. In 2017, Stephanie was involved in a szx scandal with popular Nigerian televangelist and the founder of Omega Fire Ministries Apostle Johnson Suleman, although Suleman has denied being involved in the szx, arrest and detention of Canadian singer Stephanie Otobo by the police on Friday, March 3.

Suleman said there was never a relationship between himself and the singer.

A statement signed by Phrank Shaibu, the communications manager to the controversial prophet said, Suleman never promised to marry Stephanie at any point in time.

Shaibu said Stephanie was arrested by operatives acting on a tip off that she had repeatedly tried to blackmail the fiery preacher by demanding N500 million from him.

It was also gathered that the singer threatened to expose a purported relationship between her and the preacher.

But in his reaction, Shaibu said, a letter by Stephanie’s lawyer Festus Keyamo is misleading.

“Unknown to Keyamo, the police was alerted following several attempts by the said lady to blackmail Apostle Suleiman.

The police also recorded her conversations making the frivolous demand. The high-point of the drama was her attempt to withdraw money paid into her account at the instance of the police. The lawyer should know that his client was arrested by the police with abundance of evidence confirming that she is indeed a serial blackmailer,” Shaibu said.

He said it was however, pertinent to note that such a transaction could not have taken place without any iota of evidence.

He said Stephanie is a self-confessed striptease at a popular night club in Canada who came to Apostle Suleman to seek for help like many people.

Shaibu said the singer had pretentiously called to embrace Christ and confessed to needing financial assistance. “Does Keyamo or his serial blackmailing client have pictures of the visit by  or his representatives to her parents? In any case, how could such a relationship have existed when Apostle and the said lady have never met physically?

It’s either one of the options stated above or he is trying to engage in a proxy war on behalf of some unknown agents who had become irritated by Apostle’s stand on national issues. His inference to the latter incident in Keyamo’s letter to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) confirms this benign thought,” he said.

He further urged the lawyer to drop such attack and focus instead on defending his client in court adding that all attempts to impugn the integrity of Apostle Suleman or the Omega Fire Ministries would fall like a pack of cards.

“We are not surprised that this serial blackmailer decided to join forces with a serial divorcee, who has had five children from four failed marriages to make this phantom claim. But we dare to ask; Is a serial blackmailer and or a serial divorcee capable of understanding the sanctity of the institution called marriage?

The nature of their mental torpidity is understandable and we invite more recondite and decent persons to read in between the lines and separate the wheat from the chaff, he said.

“In this well coordinated plot to pull down Apostle Suleman at all costs, the lines of Reuben Abati will suffice ; “lies have become standard stuff, mischief a major commodity, and indecency a character flaw.”

If Keyamo and his Canada-returnee client think they can capitalize on the famed generosity of Apostle Suleman to extort N500 million through this plot, they sure have missed it as shall have our day in court,” Shaibu added.

On May 9 2022, Stephanie Otobo, in a post on Twitter has accused Apostle Suleman of trying to cover up the alleged szxual activities they had together.

Sharing private pictures of an alleged video call with the ‘man of God’, Stephanie Otobo accused Apostle Suleman of trying to shut her up with operatives of the Nigerian Police.

She wrote on Twitter: “If these screenshots were fake, how did i get his pics that aren’t public pics at the first place and how come I’m the first to release this kind of pics of him? He has changed his hairstyle twice since i came out to speak up with receipts. He has done alot to appear different.

“If the d*ck pic isn’t his, what is he gonna say about the scar oh his left thigh? His wife can’t deny that scar. How did i know he has a scar on his left thigh if we we didn’t have intimacy?Lol. If he’s denying, he should open up his thigh let’s see. His nails too says it all.

“Some people kept on wondering why i came out esposing apostle Johnson suleman, and why i haven’t let go ever since.

“The truth is that, i never planned to. He pushed me to the wall and the only way i could fight back was to cry out and made everything known. The devil smile.

“Apostle Johnson Suleman tried using police to shut me up because I visited Nigeria to do feature Timaya in a song. I already paid Clarence Peters for the visuals of the song before oga arrested me, cos i refused to obey him to go back to Canada. He wanted me to amount to nothing.”

The singer released a set of damaging Snapchat shots on the internet allegedly of herself and the pastor, whom, she claimed, impregnated and dumped her.

From kinky szx, szxting, abortion and even an alleged planned wedding, Nigerians were left in shock as the singer share the ugly details of their relationship.
